The Connecticut Tour de Cure offers 5 different route lengths which cater to cyclists of all levels and abilities.
- Mostly in Region 2, but with 2 routes traversing parts of Region 4.
- All routes Start and Finish at the Durham Fairgrounds.
- Due to road conditions, weather, and construction, routes may be changed at any time to ensure a safe and smooth ride.
- Expecting 300 - 400 riders.

1 HQ: Durham Fair Grounds)
7 Rest Stops: Meriden, Durham, Killingworth, Higganum, Middlefield, Old Saybrook, Lyme.

This is a great opportunity for new hams (and others without any Plublic Service Event experience) to team up with experienced hams and get On The Job Training in a low stress environment.
HOURS: (Eastern)
0530: Net Control Team Arrives to set up the Net Control Station (NCS)
0600: SAG Wagon Radio operators Arrive
0630: 100 Mile Ride Starts
0615
- 1130: Staggered Arrival Times for Checkpoint Radio Operators.
15:30: All Courses Closed

EQUIPMENT:
Stock HTs are going to be sub par for this event due to the hilly terrain and repeater coverage.
Best come with a mobile radio (and a spare mag mount)
Or... Bring a 20 + Watt amp and a mag mount for your HT.
