Tour de Cure 2015
Hey everyone!
Hope all is well when you receive this message.
Guess what? It's that time again.
This year's event is taking place on Sunday, June 14th.
We did extremely well last year, all thanks to everyone on this email chain. They want us back. I am in contact with the Coordinator and want to get a good jump on this year's event.
Even though we did great last year, it was not without hiccups. We will cross that bridge in due time. But for now, I would like to see where we are regarding volunteers.
If you can make it, please reply to my email address (ericingersoll "AT" aol "DIT" com) with your information AND resources (gear) that you can bring to the event.
We will need guys to go in SAG wagons, which will require a mobile and mag mount.
I was told coverage will be different this year and it may be possible to use one 2 meter repeater. Tests will be done to confirm this as we approach the date.
Also, if you are a member of a club, please spread the word.
- We can use as many operators as we can get.
This year, we would like to have someone with or close to the medics, as well as other important posts, so we will need a few more hands on deck.
We had a GREAT group of guys that really went above and beyond at last year’s event. This year we are expecting as good a group of volunteers… if not even better.
- Bring a friend a work together.
