ARE YOU "INVISIBLE"?
Consider this:
Carrying an HT by itself does NOTHING to quickly IDENTIFY you to those people who may be NEEDING YOU and your HELP.
I demonstrated this quite effectively to group assembled for a RMS Express Data Communications workshop in Watertown (Region 5), last weekend (4/19/14).
- I got a volunteer to wear an ARES Deployment Vest and Cap. Then, I had him remove the vest and cap, and showed how he was virtually indistinguishable from John Q. Public.
We work in a
PUBLIC SUPPORT ROLE and
need to be
INSTANTLY RECOGNIZABLE by personnel of our Served Agencies and by the general public.
Each ARES Team member is expected to own and wear an ARES Deployment Vest and Hat for our various operational activities.
Other like/kind Safety Vests are not acceptable.
You NEED to have an
"ARES" Deployment Vest and Cap.
