Hi Everyone,

I had a good time last Saturday learning about packet radio, and some of the software we'll use to communicate with each other.

I've started to play around with some of this, and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the "official" frequencies are for CT ARES Region 2? I checked www.af1hs.com/pkt.html for additional information, and I saw that there are several depending on which town you are in. Is this list accurate?

Thanks,
Mike

According to my sources indicate that there needs to be some updating.
Especially before July 28, 2012 ;)

Worse than that, there are several sources of info, but they are not consistent. For example, the frequency information in the Region 2 Handbook is much different than the web site mentioned above.

I've asked one of my friends from Middlesex Ham club about it, and his advices was similar to the web page's frequency.

Probably what we should do is simply establish our own frequencies, and then exercise them. The goal being to be able to do a digital net, or at least establish a relay across the region.
