In order to keep our skills fresh and stimulate interest in this fun data mode, we have a 1x per month "Classic" Packet Radio Net.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it....
Send one message (or more) each month to Paul - KA1YZC.
The message should be "creative" and "fun"- to keep him interested.

If ARES members in Region 2 want to send me a "Classic" Packet Radio message, there are currently 2 Options.

Option #1
Connect to W1EDH directly, and leave me a message on the BBS .

Option #2
Get into W1SP* NetROM Packet System

Examples:
New Haven: 145.050 MHz
C W1SP-11 /// ..... After /// is just notes

Wolcott: 145.070 MHz
C W1SP-1 //

New Hartford
C K1YON-2

Glastonbury
C W1EDH-2 //

Once they get there, they can go to the BBS or try KA1YZC-1 and leave a message on the KA1YZC maildrop.

KA1YZC-1 is usually on Fri - Sun - unless storms in the area.
