Subject: CT ARES DMR Update

Hello all,
Please promote that this network is open to all for day-to-day operations.
- The system is only restricted to ARES and emergency traffic when there is an
emergency or ARES activation.

Here is the latest update for the CT ARES DMR Network.
New sites added:

W1SP Wilton, CT 440.900 +5 color code 1

W1JLZ Storrs, CT 441.4625 +5 color code 2 (note color code 2!)

WH6SW Colchester, CT 445.9875 -5 color code 1

W1HDN Danbury, CT 443.650 +5 color code 1
We would like to thank the PVRA club for allowing us to use this frequency until another
one can be coordinated for this site.

Also as a reminder:
NA1RA New Milford, 440.9625 +5 color code 1

W1SP Hartford had a frequency change to 447.975 -5 color code 1

W1SP Bloomfield had a frequency change to 446.4375 -5 color code 1

KB1TTN New Haven had a frequency change to 441.4625 +5 color code 1

The Northeast Talk Group has been moved to time slot 2 for testing.
- The reason for the test is so that if you are traveling in the Northeast region, you can call back from other
networks back to the CT-ARES Network and people will hear your call while monitoring Statewide 2 as long as Northeast is in your receive list.

We will building a lockout, so that the CT-ARES talk groups will have priority.

Please ensure that you have Statewide 1 (8900) in all of your receive lists.

It would be a good idea to have Northeast in your receive list if you want to hear someone calling in.
If not, make a second channel and use a different receive list without Northeast in it.

Please pass this email along.

Thanks,
