We need to be cognizant of RF Radiation Safety, especially when operating "Portable".

After using the Calculator (Link below) to play with different frequencies and power levels,you will note that a 12 foot radius (24' diameter) circle should suffice for our operations with an HF power of 100 watts, and 15 foot radius circle (30 foot diameter) is good for VHF/UHF with power of 50 watts.

I suggest picking up a roll of the plastic yellow "CAUTION" tape, along with several stakes to support it around the antenna, to prevent people from entering that zone.
