Recently, the Team in Orange ran a RF Mapping Exercise for key locations in that town.

Now, I just got word from Ed Rhodes (WA1LEI) about a RF Mapping Exercise held in Milford by the Woodmont Amateur Radio Association (WARA).
- There were 21 locations across town that were evaluated for 2 meter Simplex communications by a team of 8 volunteers over a span of 2 hours.
This is the first of two events.
- The next, a repeat of the first, is scheduled to take place in the summer monthly when VHF/UHF signal attenuating/blocking leaves are out in their full glory on the trees.

This is a great idea and a very practical one as well.
