MARCH HAMFEST
I have just learned that the 2012 Southington HamFest will be taking place next month.

Date: Sunday, March 18.
Time: 8 am to 12 noon
Location: Southington High School, 720 Pleasant St., Southington, CT

This is a fun place to browse, pick up gear and parts, and meet some fine folks.

It is fairly local, as it is located just over the Region 2’s central northern border.

Annual Connecticut Section ARES Meeting - 2012
In addition, the Southington Hamfest is also typically the site of the annual CT Section ARES Meeting.
While the meeting is geared for those in ARES leadership positions (DECs, ECs, AECs, PIOs, etc.), all are welcome to attend. This meeting gives you a quick insight as to what is happening and where we are going.

Let me suggest car-pooling up there with your ham friends and having lunch together afterwards.
