Our ARES TEAM's goals are to be TRAINED - ACTIVE - READY.

To do accomplish these 3 goals, our ARES TEAM members are expected to:

- Complete the "CORE 4" FEMA Independent Study (on-line training) courses.

- Check into the weekly Region 2 "Ready Net" (~15 min.).

- Participate in their town's ARES activities

- Attend Training Sessions for new or refresher training.

- Take part in 2 Public Service events in Region 2, and one in another Region

- Participate in the annual CT ARES "Simulated Emergency Test" [S.E.T.]

- Join in the scheduled (or "Surprise!") Region 2 Drills

- Wear their own ARES Deployment Vest and Cap when participating at Public Service Events.
