Just because you live in Region 2, it does not follow that you need (or want) to limit your ARES contacts and Public Service Communication events to just those in Region 2.
- Becoming known to other ARES members in foreign lands (Regions 1,3,4,5) becoming familiar with the territory and their frequencies makes you more valuable should we need to support a real world “event” elsewhere in CT.
So, next time a Public Service Communications event appears in any of the other 4 Regions, and you don’t have a conflict with one in Region 2, be sure to sign-up and go!
- You’ll be glad you did.
