Saturday, May 16
High Plains Community Center
525 Orange Center Road, Orange, CT

Hello!
What if there were a way that you could help bring Amateur Radio to hundreds (if not thousands) of Boy Scouts in one day and "spark" their imagination to become licensed Amateur Radio Operators?

You'd want to be part of that effort, wouldn't you?
- Of course you would! :)

CONNJAM is a great opportunity to showcase Amateur Radio to all levels of folks involved in Scouting...
- Boy Scouts (Cubs Scouts to Venture Scouts),
- Adult Scout Leaders
- Scout Parents
- Boy Scout Councils

Promotional Video:

We get to play Ham Radio and give them a positive experience and introduction our fun hobby.

BTW: This event draws up to 3,000 campers and visitors over the weekend.

Our Amateur Radio Activities Plan for this event includes

* BONUS:
These 4 Activities double as part of this year’s “MAY DRILL” to exercise and demonstrate our ARES capabilities in these specific areas.

COUNT-DOWN:
DEADLINE: MAY 1st

** We now have less than 30 DAYS to Get Everything Organized.
- And, another 14 days wrap up the loose ends before the event begins.

WE NEED YOUR HELP and PARTICIPATION.
- We need to have everything (staffing /equipment / materials /supplies) lined up, organized, and nailed down by MAY 1st.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Be an ACTIVITY VOLUNTEER to:
- Staff one of the Activity Centers.
and
- Loan Materials and Equipment[ to support the Activity Centers.
- Amateur Radio Clubs to provide Club Promotional Literature hand-outs for the Information Booth.

As you look at that list again, think about how you can contribute to this effort to bring Amateur Radio to all these Scouts and "excite" their imagination.
