Even though we all know that an HT and rubber duck antenna will not go terribly far on Simplex here in CT, they are just dandy when used in conjunction with a working local repeater.

Here is an idea that can be scaled-up for a larger HT and larger accessories (e.g. battery charging stand & wall wart). Containers such as a larger camera bag or a Lunch Box/bag will do the trick.

I call this one: The Mini HT "GO-Box".

The version shown is for the diminuative Baofeng UV-3R. It is suitable for (very) local communications where you've got a good Line Of Sight (LOS) for Simplex (e.g. O'Niantic 5K), or to a local Repeater - especially with a larger after-market antenna or mag mount.
Also makes for a dandy secondary VHF/UHF receiver.

Missing from Photos (updated photos will be added later):
- Note Pad
- Pens/Pencils
- Antenna
- Speaker Mike.

The small zip-lock bags keep items organized and prevent scratching.
They all fit into the larger zip-lock bag.
NOTE THE LABELING on the TWO outside surfaces:
- They tells you what radio is inside, to whom it belongs and a Telephone Number to call if lost.
- You might also want to add a Luggage Tag with contact information
