Subject: DHS Protective Measures Course December 5th and 6th - Short Notice - 75 seats open

FOR LONG ISLAND SOUND PORT PARTNERS, MARINE GROUPS, MARITIME SUPPORT NETWORK, MARITIME COMMUNITY -

There will be another in the series of DHS training classes coming to CT but we have a short amount of lead time.....

The DHS Protective Measures Course is a two-day class that will take place
at the Northeast Utilities Auditorium (107 Selden St, Berlin, CT) on December 5th and 6th.

The course is designed to provide owners and operators in the public and
private sector with the knowledge to identify the appropriate protective
measures for their unique sector.

The course provides information pertaining to available protective measures and the strategies for determining which can be effectively employed in their sector. The course educates participants on the
threat analysis process, terrorist methodologies and planning cycles, applicable protective measures, and the process for determining which protective measures to employ.

This 16-hour class is designed for both the Public and Private Sector, so just about anyone with any security-related duties is welcome to attend - executive and employee level owners and operators of critical infrastructure; security personnel; first responders (Police/Fire/EMT);
emergency management personnel; military personnel; municipal employees; etc.

The details and registration link will soon be posted to the CT DEMHS Training
Calendar at:
(www.ct.gov/demhs/ical/calendar.asp?mm=12...age1.x=18&image1.y=5
).

The class will accommodate 75 participants and we need to show a minimum registration of 56 people and soon!
