National Incident Management System (NIMS)
Learn To Help In Times Of Disaster!
GO "CORE 4"
Getting the one-time Certification in "CORE 4" FEMA Courses (IS 100, 200, 700, 800) is now a core requirement in CT ARES. This is because we need to:
- Interface more effectively with Emergency personnel,
- Talk the same language,
- Understand how emergency organizations work, and
- Know where we fit into the mix (Auxiliary Communications).
If you are not already "CORE 4" Certified (a one-time process), then you have
two ways to accomplish this
in 2015:
1) Go On-Line, and get it done at your own pace.
Or,
2) Come to the "CORE 4" Saturday morning series of classes (1 each month) in Wallingford.
